Metals in the Plant

    
Metals are one of the most vital resources in the world. The USA still is the world leader in metallurgical practices. This course gives the student a great appreciation for metals, metallurgy and metalworking  The course discusses the properties of metal and how that differentiates from the mechanical properties of metal. This course discusses how and where certain metals like copper, aluminum, magnesium, titanium, lead, nickel, tin and zinc are used. It allows the student to see several different manufacturing processes as well as discussion of heat treating metals and the purpose for usage in different processes to better complete work.
